ROOM RENTAL INFORMATION

The Northland Workforce Training Center (NWTC) building may be used by both for profit and not for profit agencies. Room rentals are at the discretion of NWTC and are intended for business purposes only. NWTC reserves the right to refuse building use by any group that does not conform to the mission of NWTC.

Approved events outside of normal business hours are subject to additional fees. Meeting rooms cannot be booked more than 3 months in advance.

Payments are due 30 days prior to the contracted rental date. Payments for events scheduled less than 30 days of rental date are due upon receipt of invoice.

Room reservations will be canceled for payments not received on or before invoiced due date.

Building hours are 9:00am - 9:00pm Monday - Friday. During semester breaks and summer months (mid-December through mid-January and mid-May through Labor Day), building hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm.

To request a reservation, fill out the request form​ below. Once the form is reviewed and a decision is granted, you will receive a confirmation email along with information regarding the next steps. If you have any questions, please email roomreservations@northlandwtc.org.

Rental Space Guidelines and Policies

  • All rooms come in "as is" condition.
  • No burning of candles, no glitter, and no tape on walls.
  • Rooms must be left clean and in the same condition it was upon arrival.
  • Damage to rental space including furniture, AV equipment, and carpet stains are subject to repair/cleaning fees.
  • Meetings must begin and end on time. Please make sure to plan for set up and clean up time when scheduling a meeting.
  • The use of multiple rooms is prohibited during the hours of 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri (unless approved).
  • You must notify NWTC in advance if media will be present. Any meeting that includes media must be evaluated by NWTC management and volunteer leadership. NWTC reserves the right to decline room request forms if it is determined that media coverage may directly or indirectly create an inaccurate image of the organization’s involvement with the issue presented.
  • NWTC does not provide technical assistance to help setup/troubleshoot or loan equipment.
  • NWTC cannot make photocopies.
  • Coffee and/or other supplies are not provided. You must provide these items for your meeting.
  • Food and beverages are allowed. Wine and beer can be served with NWTC approval and require NYS alcohol permit.
  • Parking is not guaranteed on site. Please note that often we have several meetings taking place and you may need to arrive early to ensure parking.
  • No smoking in the building or on NWTC property outside of designated areas.
  • Any injuries or incidents must be reported to security.
  • Children age 12 and under must always be supervised.
  • NWTC reserves the right to move meetings around the building to accommodate internal meetings. We will notify the contact person on this form if this is to occur.
  • Any room, time changes, or cancellations must be requested at least 72 hours in advance.
  • If any of the above guidelines are not followed, future use of the building will be denied!
  • In the event of bad weather, please check the local news channels regarding any possible closures.
